Technical Accounting Consultant & Non Executive Director

Simone became a Non Executive Director of Equity & Advisory in 2022.

Simone is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years technical accounting experience. She is able to assist Equity & Advisory with complex accounting matters to ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards, and Regulatory Requirements. Key areas of expertise include: Business Combinations, Revenue and Work in Progress Accounting, Impairment Testing and Lease Accounting. Simone is also experienced at performing external audit engagements, internal audit procedures, and buy-side due diligence engagements.

Simone spent the majority of her career working in audit and business advisory services for Big 4 accounting firms EY and KPMG.

Simone holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) and a Bachelor of Laws from Flinders University. She also has a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting.
